I was overwhelmed to find two framed certificates (see below - had to photograph them as I didn't want to remove them from their frames to scan). They planted five trees in the Hills of Jerusalem for Maria and another five for us.
Given that Israel had a very special place in our hearts because of our experiences both pre- and post- Maria's illness, we now feel an ever closer connection to the Holy Land. It is something the kids were impressed by and we look forward to seeing the area when we return for a visit.
