Maria had been feeling a little unwell in recent days with head pain on the right side (traditionally was all over or concentrated on the left), nausea, and a distended stomach to the point where it’s hard for her to wear anything around her waist, albeit she has lost 5kg since surgery. Her eyes have continued to water and she still sees black lines in her vision.
This morning Maria also noticed a couple of other issues, which we decided needed to be examined. We contacted Isaac and he arranged for us to see the Cancer Centre emergency doctor. Kathy came to our rescue, being able to care for Ben and Gabi at short notice as their school had a holiday today.
We had a fairly lengthy wait, but met another nice doctor (we haven’t encountered a bad one yet). She thoroughly examined Maria. It appears Maria is having some delayed effects from the therapy as well from the weeks of taking so many drugs with what can be nasty side effects. We worked through some potential solutions.
Tomorrow (Wed) is our wedding anniversary. It will be a quiet day apart from some more house tidying and me attending a follow-up dental appointment for a filling. Something I'm not dancing in the streets over.
