It was an opportunity for Maria to see the teachers and parents, some who have been a massive blessing to us throughout this ordeal. It was yet again another emotional event for us.
Some of their art was on display, which was a pleasure to view. The unfortunate thing about attending events after having packed and uplifted is the accummulation of extra presents, which is what happened with the kids.

In the afternoon I left the kids with Maria while I went to a send-off lunch for my dear friend and colleague Trish (and her husband Steve). They depart the day after us and their time in Hong Kong will overlap with ours. It is strange to think in the very near future we will see them again, this time on Aussie soil.
