Maria woke feeling quite strange, so she didn’t emerge until about 11am. She said she got some sleep during the night, which is always positive. Interestingly while eating something around midday, Maria realised she hadn’t taken any pain medication since the evening before—unprecedented since falling ill. Is there a change in the air?
We had another evening session of radiotherapy. After dropping Gabi off to ballet and Ben to a dear friend (thanks Jo) we headed to the hospital. Amazingly, there was not another person there. This was the second "first" in one day! That said, it still seemed to take a while before Maria was treated. Another late night for the kids.
