The kids returned to school with Gabi chomping at the bit from an academic perspective, and Ben keen from a social perspective. Our blood test was postponed until tomorrow to tie in with other appointments, which meant we reverted back to an evening session, but enabled me to collect the kids and take Gabi to ballet. One of the mum’s kindly returned her home while we were at the hospital for treatment.
We arrived home just in time for me to drive Mama to the airport. Fortunately with my airport access, I was able to escort her all the way through and had a coffee and talk before she left for the long journey home. It was a great help to have her here for the Spring Break.
