Effie told me earlier this morning that Maria's breathing has returned to normal for now. Praise God! A blessing in the storm.
I'm about to head in with Gabi. Ben is coming through later with Maria's parents.
Later this morning I am meeting with Effie and Brian's church pastor, who has been on my heart for some time. He has provided some fantastic pastoral care for Maria's parents and as Maria spoke so fondly of him lately it just felt right to meet with him.
