It is 5.:30am on Thursday and I am on the floor of Gabi's room typing this entry.
I was hoping that this would be my opportunity to grab some decent sleep. Firstly, I struggled in Maria's hospital bed with the special air mattress making all sorts of noises when I tossed and turned.
To add to this, Ben came in just before 4:30am after having experienced a major episode of diarrhoea, the likes I have not witnessed for some years. It only took me a few minutes to clean him up, console him and tuck him into Maria's hospital bed. The following 30 minutes was spent trying to clean his bedroom.
With Maria's parents now staying with us indefinitely, it's back on the floor for me.
