Sat 16-Jan-10 (Hospice day #6)

Due to the number of 'breakthroughs' given, it was decided to hook Maria up to a syringe driver for her morphine as well as some of the medications they were able to administer in liquid form. She slept on and off throughout the day, requiring a breakthrough injection around 7:30pm.

Mum and Dad headed back to the Central Coast after their few day stay, helping out with the kids. Mark, Cass and the kids arrived back in town for the weekend, and Janelle came to do the night shift.

One of Maria's childhood friends, Georgia, and her mum came to visit from Sydney. That was nice for Maria as she has since been heavily sedated most of the time since then.
