Our brothers and sisters from CCF (our church congregation in Israel) held a memorial service for Maria last Wednesday evening. Dear friends of ours from the US (who were in Israel with us) even Skyped into the service.
Maria would be embarrassed by what she would consider a fuss over her. I am grateful.
Since writing this entry my Google search bot came across a video of the aforementioned service. The link is http://video.aol.co.uk/video-detail/maria-parakilas-thanksgiving-service-israel/3107109681
