About 8:30pm local time this evening I received an SMS from Ben's best mates' parents (also dear friends) asking for prayer as their youngest boy, Ethan, was in severe pain with a suspected broken arm. They were on the way to hospital. No further information given.

After fervent prayer a short time ago (about 11:05pm) received a further message to say that both bones between the wrist and elbow were broken in Ethan's arm. They will operate first thing tomorrow morning.

I would be grateful for those out there to join me in prayer over a range of issues, such as:

• guidance for the surgeon's hand and a successful outcome;
• supernatural/natural healing;
• coping well with anaesthetic and surgery (esp. peace that surpasses all understanding);
• peace for Jason, Karen and their other boys (Matt & Josh)
