When we returned to Australia at the end of May, we hired a car for a week until very dear and generous friends loaned us one of their vehicles, which we have used since. With so much happening since we hit Australian soil, car shopping slipped down the priority list.
Now that things are slowing a little for us, we decided it is time to sort out this situation. Yesterday we contacted a good friend of Maria's sister. He is making some enquiries on our behalf and we are hoping that by the weekend we'll have a short list of cars to consider. For those of you interested in the type of car we want, it can only be one of the following German cars (Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes). In all seriousness, we are looking at a Subaru Forester (used).
On a more important note, Maria continues to cope well with this cycle of chemo. Otherwise, we (includes the kids) are tired but doing okay, and looking forward to the weekend.
