We started the day walking around the lake with Mel and three of her four boys (Tim accompanied Paul to Melbourne for an Ice Hockey tournament). The kids were either on bikes, scooters or rip-sticks. We were all tiring by the time we arrived at McDonalds (has been completely renovated) for lunch, less than a km from the finish. The kids then spent some time at the skateboard park before heading home, arriving mid-afternoon.
I had to get the NRMA to come (only had to wait 10mins) and jump-start my car as it once again appears someone left a door ajar. After getting the car started we headed off to see Steve & Trish and their new arrival Rafael Solomon, born on the 6th. He is so cute!
We got home late afternoon and relaxed a little, then Gary arrived with a yummy meal cooked by Gill for tomorrow after footy training. We are truly blessed by so many people, so often.
