Ben played his first interstate game. Well, in fact it was in Jerrabomberra, only about 15 minutes from home, but in New South Wales.
It was one goal each half way through the first quarter. Like previous weeks they seemed to lose their way. In the 3rd quarter they made it an even contest and ran away with it in the final quarter. Had they been adding the overall score, they probably would still have just lost. Ben had a quiet game, still a little hesitant to get into tackles, but his marking and kicking has improved.
We drove directly to Cooma for lunch with Maria's parent, Effie and family, and their friend Rosemary. We went to Effie & Brian's afterwards for coffee and cakes care of Rosemary and Mama.
We got home about 6:30pm, all feeling quite drained. Ben slept for the last 15mins of the trip, which meant he struggled to get to sleep when bedtime came.
