There have been a few occasions during this journey when the indications were that Maria wouldn't be with us today. We have God to thank for bringing us this far down the track with things currently the best they've been since Maria's diagnosis. We are certainly not oblivious to the ongoing challenge we face and for this reason we count every day as a blessing and will continue to do so. Actually, shouldn't we all have this mindset anyway, regardless of our circumstances?
