Return to work next week

It's a real blessing that Maria is probably the best she's been since February and is able to self-manage a lot more. For this reason I will be returning to work on a part-time basis next Monday (the 19th). I'll work 20 hours per week (half-days from Mon-Thu).

Given that I have been caring for Maria since her diagnosis, I am a little hesitant returning to paid work after what will by then be a 8 month absence (actually, a week short of it).

I will be attached to the Staffing/Human Resources area of my organisation. There are a number of discreet projects that I can undertake. These will be discussed with me further when I start. I appreciate their ongoing flexibility and look forward to contributing what I can.
