She underwent some rigorous testing and her medications were discussed at length. The biggest downside to the meeting was that it was made clear Maria would not be allowed to drive for the foreseeable future. That said, she is appreciative of the risks involved and really just wanted confirmation of the above. I will continue to take on chauffeuring duties when not at work. With buses, taxis and friends available from time-to-time, there won't be any problems managing.

Fri 23-Oct-09 (Neurologist's appt)
This meeting went well. As previously mentioned, Maria was on a minimum four month waiting list. When we saw the Neurologist we said how amazing it was that Maria was seen so quickly. Unbeknown to us, Maria's neurosurgeon had "pushed hard" behind the scenes to have Maria seen.
