On Sunday we visited a church that had Natalie Miller and her puppets. Not only was she an amazing ventriloquist (and funny), but she delivered some powerful messages to the kids (and adults) through her presentation. We had a pretty lazy afternoon as we all felt extremely fatigued from a hard week.

Weekend 5 & 6-Dec-09
On Saturday we hung around the house while Maria's dad came to place some roofing on our old pergola area out the back. He worked hard outside all day, while I kept things functioning inside. Maria slept for a few hours during the afternoon. Maria's Dad slept over that night. This is the first time we have had anyone stay with us since Effie looked after the kids during Maria's hospital admission and surgery in June. In the evening we had a more in-depth discussion with the kids about Maria's progress.
