As you know from the multiple references to date, Maria will have an MRI next Tuesday (8th). This will be the first since her post-operative MRI, which was conducted to see how successful the surgery was. The feedback from that discussion (now over two months ago) was that approximately 80 per cent of the mass was successsfully removed. From the residual (20%) mass remaining, it was not possible to determine the percentage of tumour -v- infection.
As alluded to in a recent blog entry, we won't have instant feedback as to the MRI outcome until the 10th, when I'm scheduled to call Maria's Oncologist before he heads overseas. We meet with the Neurosurgeon on the 18th to discuss it in more detail.
We continue to be—perhaps selfishly—prayerful that His Will aligns with ours.
