Extreme temps (hospitalisation a blessing to Maria)

As I mentioned in an earlier entry we have been without cooling in our home since returning to Australia. We pray this will be rectified tomorrow.

Today temperatures hit 45.7C (114.3F) in parts of South Australia with 43C (109.4F) in its capital Adelaide (hottest recorded temp there for 16 years!). Lightning caused some severe fires, which are being bravely fought as I type.

Here in Canberra it was in the high 30s today, with an expected maximum of 38C (100.4F) tomorrow.

Maria is amazing at viewing blessings in all situations. She sees her time in hospital (an air-conditioned room) as one of those blessings. It's hard to argue at times like these.
